Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

• Information you give us: your name, phone number, email address, city, and the details of your message when you use the contact form, email, call, or text us.
• Service information: details about your pool and property needed to quote and perform service.
• Health and safety information, if you choose to give it: the booking form has an optional field for allergies, chemical sensitivities, and anything medical we should know about the people who swim in your pool. It is voluntary, and a booking without it is a complete booking. We use it for one purpose: treating your water safely, which can mean choosing different chemicals or timing a treatment differently. We never use it for marketing, we never sell it, and we do not ask for a diagnosis or for records.
• Automatically collected: we use Google Analytics 4 to measure how the Site is used (pages viewed, and whether a visitor tapped to call or sent the form). Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and basic request data) for security and reliability.

Apart from that one optional field, we do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information through the Site, and nothing on the Site asks for a government identifier, a financial account number, or precise location.

2. How we use it

• To respond to inquiries and provide quotes
• To schedule, perform, and bill for pool services
• To communicate with you about service (including by email, phone, or text)
• To operate, secure, and improve the Site
• To comply with law and enforce our agreements

3. Text messages

If you give us your mobile number, you consent to receive service-related calls and texts (scheduling, reminders, billing) that we send manually, one to one. We do not send automated or mass marketing texts. Message and data rates may apply, and you can opt out anytime by telling us or replying STOP.

4. Cookies and analytics

Google Analytics 4 sets its own cookies to tell one visit from another and to measure how the Site is used. We do not use those cookies for advertising, and we do not run advertising or social media tracking pixels. Your browser also stores, for the length of your visit only, a note of how you arrived at the Site (the page you landed on, the site that referred you, and any campaign tags in the link) so we can tell where an inquiry came from. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on. The Site works normally either way.

5. How we share it

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with:

• Service providers who run parts of our business under contract, such as our website host, our database and file storage providers, our analytics provider (Google Analytics), and our email, scheduling, and payment processors;
• Address lookup services, when you type a service address into the booking form. To tell you whether that address is inside the area we cover, we send the address you typed to the United States Census Bureau’s public address geocoder and, if it cannot find the street, to the OpenStreetMap Foundation’s Nominatim service. Only the address is sent: never your name, phone number, or email. Neither service is told who is asking, we do not keep a copy of the result, and we do not store the address anywhere except on your booking if you go on to make one;
• Legal/safety recipients when required by law or to protect rights and safety;
• A successor in a business transfer.

6. Do Not Track

We do not track you across other websites and we do not sell or share your information for advertising, so a browser “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal does not change what we do. Our analytics measures use of this Site only.

7. Retention

We keep information as long as needed to provide services, maintain records, and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, then dispose of it securely.

8. Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

9. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Your rights and choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold, and you may opt out of marketing messages, by contacting us using the details in Section 12. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

• California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you have rights to know, delete, and correct your personal information and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information.
• Texas residents (TDPSA): you have rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of your personal information and to opt out of targeted advertising and sale. Note that small businesses may be exempt from the TDPSA, but we honor reasonable requests regardless.

To exercise any right, contact us using the details in Section 12; we may need to verify your identity.

11. Changes

We may update this Policy; the “Last updated” date reflects the current version, and material changes will be posted on this page.
