Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 30, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Hyrax LLC d/b/a True Texan Pools (“True Texan Pools,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information through truetexanpools.com(the “Site”) and when you contact us for pool services.

1. Information we collect

  • Information you give us: your name, phone number, email address, city, and the details of your message when you use the contact form, email, call, or text us.
  • Service information: details about your pool and property needed to quote and perform service.
  • Automatically collected: the Site uses no third-party analytics or tracking. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and basic request data) for security and reliability.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information through the Site.

2. How we use it

  • To respond to inquiries and provide quotes
  • To schedule, perform, and bill for pool services
  • To communicate with you about service (including by email, phone, or text)
  • To operate, secure, and improve the Site
  • To comply with law and enforce our agreements

3. Text messages

If you give us your mobile number, you consent to receive service-related calls and texts (scheduling, reminders, billing) that we send manually, one to one. We do not send automated or mass marketing texts. Message and data rates may apply, and you can opt out anytime by telling us or replying STOP.

4. Cookies and analytics

The Site does not use cookies or third-party analytics. If this changes, we will update this Policy to describe the cookies used and your choices.

5. How we share it

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with:

  • Service providers who run parts of our business under contract, such as our website host, our contact-form provider (Google Forms), and our email, scheduling, and payment processors;
  • Legal/safety recipients when required by law or to protect rights and safety;
  • A successor in a business transfer.

6. Do Not Track

The Site uses no third-party tracking and does not follow you across other websites, so there is nothing for it to track in response to a browser “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal.

7. Retention

We keep information as long as needed to provide services, maintain records, and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, then dispose of it securely.

8. Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

9. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Your rights and choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold, and you may opt out of marketing messages, by contacting us below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

  • California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you have rights to know, delete, and correct your personal information and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information.
  • Texas residents (TDPSA): you have rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of your personal information and to opt out of targeted advertising and sale. Note that small businesses may be exempt from the TDPSA, but we honor reasonable requests regardless.

To exercise any right, contact us using the details in Section 12; we may need to verify your identity.

11. Changes

We may update this Policy; the “Last updated” date reflects the current version, and material changes will be posted on this page.
