The person who shows up is the person who owns the company

True Texan Pools is Austin Andrews. Not a franchise, not a rotating crew, and not a dispatcher who has never seen your pool.

Founder and Lead Technician

Four years of pools, one set of hands

True Texan Pools was founded by Austin Andrews, a Plano-based pool professional with over four years of hands-on experience in the industry. What started as a passion for well-maintained pools turned into a commitment to bring honest, high-quality service to DFW homeowners.

Austin personally handles every job, from routine weekly cleanings to diagnosing tricky equipment issues and running green-to-clean recoveries. There is no crew of rotating strangers at your home. You get the same trusted face and the same standard every single visit, which matters more than it sounds: the technician who saw your filter pressure last week is the one who notices it climbing this week.

Based in Plano, we serve communities across the entire DFW Metroplex, including Frisco, McKinney, Allen, Richardson, Garland, and beyond. Being local is not a marketing line here. It is why same-week starts are usually possible and why a cloudy pool before a weekend party is a phone call rather than a ticket.

How we work, and why

Three commitments that shape every visit. Each one exists because of something that frustrates pool owners about the way this industry usually operates.

A photo report after every visit

You get a digital report with photos of the work and the chemical readings recorded that day, so you never have to take our word for it or be home to check.

The Swim-Ready Guarantee

If your pool is not swim-ready after a service, we come back and fix it at no charge. If it is still not right, you do not pay for that visit.

No long-term contracts

Month to month, cancel any time, no fees and no paperwork. We would rather keep your business by doing good work than by locking you in.

Why owner-operated matters for a pool

A pool is not a lawn. It is a body of water whose chemistry drifts a little every day, and whose equipment gives warning signs long before it fails. Both of those are patterns, and patterns are only visible to someone who sees the same pool week after week.

That is the whole argument for owner-operated service. When the person testing your water in July is the same person who tested it in April, a calcium reading that crept up is obvious rather than invisible. When a large company sends whoever is available, every visit starts from zero.
